I was elected to the committee of the Wound Care Society (WCS) at its annual general meeting in 2004. At my first committee meeting all members were allocated specific roles in order to ensure all elements of the mission statement were covered. Part of the statement is to deliver wound care education to nurses and I have pursued this goal by becoming the resident educationalist for the Leg Club Forum.
