Compression Hosiery, Second edition

1 March 2015

The second edition of Best practice statement: Compression hosiery provides much-needed guidance about how to appropriately assess for, choose and apply compression hosiery, as well as how to manage patients within a well-defined multidisciplinary team.

A broad range of informational sources have been reviewed and distilled. During the peer-review process, a panel of experts — including tissue viability, vascular and lymphoedema specialists — has discussed, commented and agreed this text in order to produce a document that provides practical information for clinical decision-making, key principles of best practice and tools for everyday use.

This edition has superseded the first edition, which was published in 2004.
