Incontinence-associated dermatitis (IAD) is a common and debilitating condition caused by urinary or faecal incontinence, and can lead to increased burden of care, loss of independence, disruption in activities and/or sleep, and reduced quality of life. Therefore, it is imperative to alleviate symptoms and manage IAD to improve patient experience.
