Optimal wound management requires a structured approach including holistic assessment, implementation of an appropriate treatment regimen based on attributes of a wound (I.e. highly exuding), and reassessment and documentation at each dressing change.

This Quick Guide covers use of AQUACEL Foam dressing, a uniquely designed product that incorporates Hydrofiber Technology, which forms a cohesive gel when in contact with would fluid, locks in exudate and traps bacteria, and micro-contour to the wound bed to optimise moisture balance.
