For this edition of the journal, I have invited Kimberly LeBlanc as Guest Editor to discuss the role and responsibilities of nurses specialising in wound care and beyond. The starting point was a recent debate of the role and responsibilities of Tissue Viability Nurses (TVNs) in the UK in the last issue of this journal (Holloway et al, 2019).
