This paper will focus on the prevention and management of moisture-associated skin damage, centring on a review of the literature surrounding the topic. The aim is to identify
and explore some of the methods available to clinicians in optimising skin health. It will include a discussion of the application of evidence-based skin care believed to reduce the risk of moisture-associated breakdown.
